Minor Infrastructure and Inclusive Facilities Fund
The Minor Infrastructure and Inclusive Facilities Fund is an initiative under the Queensland Government’s Activate! Queensland 2019-2029 strategy.
The initiative provides targeted funding to eligible organisations to help the sport and active recreation industry deliver new, upgraded and end of life infrastructure projects and works.
These projects will enhance community sport and active recreation in one of two categories:
- Inclusive and Accessible: projects to support new and upgraded changerooms and amenities that meet universal design principles.
- Safe Quality and Efficient: projects to support new, upgraded and end-of-life field of play and ancillary facilities to meet activity requirements at a community level.
Funding recipients
A total of 171 projects have been approved for funding under Minor Infrastructure and Inclusive Facilities Fund.
