Towards Tourism 2032: Phase one reporting November 2023
Source: Tourism and Events Queensland, unless stated otherwise
Community support for tourism experienced marginal declines between 2021-23. Maintaining tourism’s social licence, and engaging community in tourism decisions is key. Declines in community support are likely linked to lingering impacts of COVID-19 recovery, and the influence of underlying regional social and economic pressures impacting this reporting round.
